This year, HopeWorks celebrated its 45th anniversary, serving as a safe haven for those affected by intimate partner violence and sexual assault in Howard County. The HopeWorks staff are on the frontlines everyday providing intervention and prevention services that educate and empower victims and increase the awareness and knowledge of intimate partner violence and sexual assault within the community. The need for such services is vital in our community and HopeWorks was created to address this need. However, the existence of HopeWorks and the organization's ability to provide such comprehensive, trauma-informed, and survivor-centered services would be impossible without the support of our Howard County community.

HopeWorks replies on your donation to provide:
• 24/7 Hotline services which offers crisis intervention, support, and advocacy
• A Hospital Accompaniment Program which offers in-person and remote advocacy services to victims being treated at Howard County General Hospital
• Comprehensive case management, individualized safety planning, and basic needs support and referrals
• Confidential emergency shelter and extended shelter services for victims fleeing abusive situations
• Legal advocacy and representation
• Counseling services for victims and their families
• Survivor wellness programs and support groups
• Youth leadership and education programs
• Community outreach and education
• Employee support, benefits, and wellness programs

This year, HopeWorks celebrated its 45th anniversary, serving as a safe haven for those affected by intimate partner violence and sexual assault in Howard County.
