This October, I’m participating in HopeWorks’ Purple Challenge in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. I’m joining the to help raise awareness and support survivors of intimate partner violence in our community.
HopeWorks is a local nonprofit that provides crisis intervention services, advocacy, shelter, counseling, prevention education, and long-term support for survivors and their families in Howard County. Last year, HopeWorks supported 4,466 survivors, 61% more than the year before.
My goal is to raise $1,000 to support HopeWorks’ life-changing programs and services.
