Grounded in transformative cultural change, the Community Engagement Department (CED) addresses the root causes of sexual and intimate partner violence through primary prevention efforts, tertiary prevention programs, building awareness and cultivating community leadership.
In the CED we facilitate prevention education and professional training programs, support and education groups for survivors, community wellness and social justice projects, manage the volunteer program, host violence awareness vigils and special event events, produce print/electronic communications.

Confidential emergency shelter and extended housing for survivors and their children
Hospital Accompaniment Program providing comfort and advocacy to survivors
Emergency financial assistance for survivors

Support, Well Being and Wellness programs for survivors
Legal representation enabling clients to obtain Civil Orders of Protection
Awareness, prevention, and wellness programs for the community
